Dear St. Brigid Families,
As we have progressed through the season of Advent towards the great feast of the birth of Christ, we heard much from the Old Testament Prophet, Isaiah. He uses such expressions as “prepare…”, “Make ready…”, “Comfort…” and “Rejoice…” If we read through the chapters of this book in the Bible, we can readily see that the coming of Christ as our Saviour is an event of profound significance and one awaited with much anticipation. St. Brigid has been living that spirit of preparation throughout the season of Advent through the virtue of Charity. In the pages of this Newsletter you will read about how we have come together to raise funds and collect donations to support those less fortunate. A very special time made even more special due to the generosity of our community.
It was so beautiful to share our Advent family Masses with so many families and friends in our St. Brigid community. We would like to extend a special thank you to Father Carlos for his continued commitment to enhancing the spiritual life of our community.
We would like to extend our appreciation to the staff and parents for your continued support and dedication to St. Brigid School. On behalf of the staff of the St. Brigid community we would like to extend to all of our families our wishes for a blessed and Merry Christmas. We wish you Peace and Joy in 2016.
