Progress Reports and Parent Teacher Interviews

Progress Reports will be sent home early this week. They will include a note with your scheduled interview time. Interviews will take place this year on Wednesday, November 15th and Thursday, November 16th in the evenings from 5:00-7:30pm each night.

We will be selling delicious and filling Italian Rice Balls & Drinks each night. Yum! We are taking pre-orders here: Rice Ball Pre-order Form so that we can make sure we have enough. We will have a meat and a vegetarian option and will have a few extras in addition to the preorders available for sale each night. We will have disposable containers, but if possible, please bring a reusable container or two to put them in (they are about the size of a softball).

St. Brigid Spirit Wear Online Store is BACK!

The St. Brigid Wear online store is back and will be open until November 23rd. Check out the online store where you can purchase, t-shirts, hoodies, sweatpants and crew neck sweatshirts with the St. Brigid logo. Don’t know what size? We will have sample sizes in the school on Interview Night. These navy items may be worn any day at school. You can also order your custom yellow spirit/sport t-shirt with your choice of name and number. These can be worn for sports events and spirit days.

Once the store closes, then all the orders will be sent to production with delivery about 2-3 weeks after that. We will have them in time for Christmas. If you would like to make this a gift item, you can indicate that in your order and we will call you to pick it up in the office instead of sending it home with your child.

Mr. Moulds Memorial Skating Day – Any skates to donate?

On December 14th, the entire school will be participating in our first annual Mr. Moulds Memorial Skating Day in honor of our beloved teacher who recently passed away. Mr. Moulds was the very dedicated teacher who organized all our skating days and coached our hockey team. All classes will be shuttled to East York arena in rotation for skating between 9:00am and 1:00pm. The Moulds family have also been invited to attend.

If you have any skates that you would like to donate, please bring them on interview night. The school keeps an inventory of donated skates for students to borrow for skating trips. We will also take hockey helmets that are CSA approved. This is another initiative that Mr. Moulds began to ensure that all students that were interested in skating, could have the opportunity to do so. We could also use 3-4 large hockey bags to transport/store the skates.

We hope to have hot chocolate and snacks for the kids and to celebrate all our wonderful memories together. More information will be coming as we get closer to the date.
