Buying Gift Cards this Holiday Season? Use FUNDSCRIP and help the school!

Buying Starbucks or Tim Hortons Gift Cards for Teachers?
Indigo gift cards for nieces or nephews?
How about Canadian Tire for Dad cause he is so hard to buy for?

Did you know you could buy all those gift cards and support St. Brigid at the same time? You can also simply change the way you pay and use gift cards instead of cash for things like groceries and dinners out.

It’s as easy as 1-2-3. Buy gift cards online – Have them delivered to you – Go shopping!

All cards are worth the face value that you purchase at the retailer. A small percentage between 2% & 10% of the purchase goes back to the school. So, if it is groceries or gifts it is a win-win!

Over 150 retailers to choose from. Check it out here: http://www.fundscrip.com. Our school code is: Y4FMTC.

You can even send the link to your family and friends and they can support our school too!

Mr. Moulds Memorial Skating Day – Any skates to donate?

On December 14th, the entire school will be participating in our first annual Mr. Moulds Memorial Skating Day in honour of our beloved teacher who recently passed away. Mr. Moulds was the very dedicated teacher who organized all our skating days and coached our hockey team. All classes will be shuttled to East York arena in rotation for skating between 9:00am and 1:00pm. The Moulds family have also been invited to attend.

If you have any skates or hockey helmets that you would like to donate, please send them into the office. The school keeps an inventory of donated skates for students to borrow for skating trips. The hockey helmets need to be CSA approved. This is another initiative that Mr. Moulds began to ensure that all students that were interested in skating, could have the opportunity to do so. We could also use 3-4 large hockey bags to transport/store the skates.

We hope to have hot chocolate and snacks for the kids and to celebrate all our wonderful memories together. More information will be coming as we get closer to the date.
