IMPORTANT! – Police record checks are now mandatory for ALL volunteers at TCDSB schools (class activities/trips included). The check required for most is the Criminal Records and Judicial Matters Check (the CRJMC), which can be done for free with a fee waiver letter signed by Mr. Kerr. A “how to” with fillable letter and link to the Toronto Police site are below – see the TCDSB website for more details.

1. Download the fee waiver letter above. Fill in the highlighted information, and email to Mr. Kerr (kevin.kerr@tcdsb.org) for a signature.
2. Go to the Toronto Police Services site here.  Make a login and submit any needed information. Attach the signed fee waiver form to your request. The fee waiver is for the CRJMC ONLY.
3. A few volunteers may need a more in-depth vulnerable sector check done. The cost to the volunteer for this check is $26.72. The Board’s organization # is listed in the downloadable letter above.
