Incidentals & Enhancement Fees

Reminder to families the Enhancement Fee has been added to Schoolcash. This $30 ask is in lieu of our usual fall fundraiser and was set according to the following:

• Agendas ($8.50 – or equivalent (e.g. partial grade 8 grad celebration cost, extra hands-on supplies for kindergarten)),
• School-wide bookings like Halloween dance / presentations / plays / physical education workshops that are scheduled from time to time (works out to $6-7 per student),
• A classroom items fund for each teacher to access (approx $10 per student),
• Funds needed to help subsidize STEAM workshops/items ($5 also subsidized by funds raised or rolled over from last year).

We do have some other pooled parent funds but covering the costs above will allow us to move forward with other school identified needs this year.  For more info please come to CSPC meetings or check meeting minutes.
