A Few Local Giving Opportunities During Lent 

• St Brigid’s church is collecting donations to go to the St Ann’s Food Bank.  St John’s parish is currently running a 40 Cans for 40 days campaign, with food donations going to the Good Shepherd Refuge. 
• On March 25/26, St. Dunstan’s church will be hosting a bundle Sunday collection for the St Vincent de Paul Society.  Donations of clothing, shoes, linens and fabrics are welcome.
• Our own Ms. Zaleski-Cox works closely with You Are Loved, who is currently asking for new socks and underwear for men and women. 
• The Good Shepherd Refuge and the Out of the Cold program are each accepting donations, including home-baked items. Current wish lists for food/other items can be found here and here.
